I was quite nervous, but this lady & the other 3 nurses present all made me feel really relaxed & comfortable! Even though the procedure was painful they did everything they could to distract me & make me relax, laugh, talk, & basically sail through it. Can't thank them enough! X

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hysteroscopy clinic. Unfortunately on some occasions ladies can find hysteroscopy uncomfortable. I'm privileged to work alongside such a wonderful team of nurses who not only support the patient but me as well. With their expertise in the procedure they are able to help ladies relax and involve them in the care and this is a great skill each one of them posses.

She was easily approachable and made me feel comfortable. I was nervous when i got there and she explained the procedure. She was gentle and always informed of what she was doing during the examination. She explained what will happen after the checkup. Other nurses alongside her were very helpful and made me feel at ease. This helped the procedure to be easy and less stressful.
Very pleased with the team.

I have been working at Queens Hospital as a Nurse Hysteroscopist and Advanced Nurse Practitioner since 2005. I enjoy my role in supporting women with menstrual issues who are referred to my own nurse-led clinics. I regularly attend courses and conferences to keep my practice up-to-date to ensure I deliver the best quality of care to my patients.
